Agri-Med Comeback Fund for Muskegon Businesses – Agri-Med has created a $10,000 fund to assist local small businesses with recovering from the impacts of COVID 19.

FAQs about the Agri-Med Comeback Fund for Muskegon Businesses

Who gets the money?

We’ll review all the applications and choose up to 10 that will receive a grant from Agri-Med of at least $1,000. At our discretion, we may choose to give larger grants to fewer businesses. Businesses must operate within the City of Muskegon and employee no more than 25 employees.

Who makes a decision on the grants?

A group of community leaders and Agri-Med staff.

What can I use it for?

Whatever you want or need for your business to help make a comeback after the shutdown. We look forward to learning about the creative uses for the funds you might be awarded.

Do I have to pay it back?

Why are you doing this?

Because during the shutdown and COVID-19 Agri-Med’s stores were deemed essential businesses and we were able to operate when others could not—we want to lend some support to other businesses who were harmed. “We’re fortunate to have weathered COVID-19 with fully functioning businesses. We were able to adapt to curbside pick up and delivery—not all businesses were able to do this. It’s important to me that all of Muskegon’s local businesses thrive and we’re doing something to help with that,” said Greg Maki, owner of Agri-Med.
